I discovered the love of sewing as a child.
Megan is an artist and seamstress based out of Fairmont, West Virginia. Made by Meg breathes new life into previously loved textiles by creating unique one of a kind items such as quilt jackets, pillowcase vests, handkerchief skirts and more. Megan’s passion for sewing is deeply rooted, from making hand-sewn dolls with her Nonnie as a child, to working in a local sewing shop as a teen. With Made by Meg, she is able to combine her love of sewing, vintage items and sustainable fashion into one as she lives her brand mantra of Reduce, Reuse, Restyle.

Every piece is handmade with love. All of my upcycled textiles have been sourced second hand, giving new life to previously loved items and reducing textile waste.
Textile Waste
The average American generates 100 pounds of textile waste each year.
Thrifting
All of the upcycled textiles have been thrifted by me, friends and family from across the country.
Scraps
I use as much of each textile as possible, saving scraps for future projects. Any remaining scraps are recycled through Trashie.
